Who is Mason Luke?
I am Mason Luke, and let me tell you a little bit about me!
I have been selling sex toys for 15 years and specialize in the LGBTQ+ Community. As a queer transgender man, I have a more unique perspective on product usage and inclusive marketing of various products. I am a sex and product educator; I do product testing and reviews. I have relationships with several businesses whose products or businesses I recommend.

PRODUCT TESTING AND REVIEWS
In Jan. 2016, I started using YouTube as a platform for sharing reviews. This started with a personal desire to share information about products that I bought for personal use. Most products on the market are intended for either Vulva or Penis Owners, but as a transgender man who has undergone hormone replacement therapy, my body doesn’t fit well into either of those categories very well.
While I still am a vulva-owner, what was my clitoris has grown into a micro-penis. Do you know those fancy clitoral stimulators that have sucking technology marketed to women? Well, unfortunately, it took buying about 5 of them before I could find one that worked well for me since I’m too large for many of them. Then there are those penis sleeves that are marketed towards men, but they don’t tell you on the box they don’t work for a micro-penis.
Imagine walking into a sex toy store and seeing all the gendered products on the shelves and having to pick up every box and then questioning, “Will this work for my body type? Will this fit my anatomy? Will this make me feel at home in my body? Or will this be just another product that ends up in a drawer of useless items?”
This is an emotionally and financially draining process for many people, but I took my frustration and decided to do something productive with it! I used my experience, my frustration, and my wasted money and turned it into a series of reviews so that I could share my experiences with them. I believe that people work too hard for their money to have it wasted on products that don’t work!
As I did more reviews, more companies began to approach me to have their products tested and reviewed. They saw value in having their product tested by me and reviewed for others to see. When the products didn’t work for me, I gave the company feedback for possible improvements. My past recommendations for product changes have included: size, structure, or shape changes to the product, material selection, better skin tone selection, and even new product suggestions. Thankfully, most of these companies were happy to update the products and in turn created better products for me to review later.
In addition to products, I also review packaging and marketing materials. I have suggested altering images, product descriptions, and word choice on retail packages, user information, websites, or other marketing materials to be more inclusive. If your company would like me to review a product, packaging, or your marketing materials, please see my disclosures/policies page for information on how I might be able to help. I will continue to do product testing and reviews, because I see this as a customer service that helps my community find the right products. I look forward to doing more reviews, and my only request is that if my review helps you pick that perfect product, please buy through the recommended source. Many times, that's the only way to track that my reviews were effective AND to allow me to keep getting products from those particular vendors.

AFFLIATES
An affiliate program allows a company (manufacturer or distributor) to contract with individuals to facilitate sales, with a portion of the sale going to the person marketing on their behalf. An example for me would be Tantus. I review many of their products on YouTube, and ask if you choose to buy from that company you use my affiliate link, so I get credit for the sale. In my first affiliate program, I opted out of getting financially compensated because I instead found value in continuing to receive more products for review from that company. Today, I have several affiliate websites that I recommend for specific products. See my Affiliates Page for those recommended products or businesses.
EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES
I continue to look for opportunities to pass on the education I have learned about Gender, Sexuality, Prosthetics and other body safe products. I have presented at the Keystone Conference in 2017 and 2018, the Philadelphia Trans Wellness Conference in 2018, for Corporate Trainings, as well as other smaller venues. Please Contact me for your educational needs.

MY BACKGROUND
Many people often ask how I got into this line of work. Well, the story starts back when I was in college when I needed to make some extra money. I decided to join a direct sales company selling Adult Novelties via Home Parties. My sister had been with a particular company for a few years and I had seen her making money while having fun. Who wouldn't want to make money selling dildos, RIGHT?! At 18, I had already been helping my sister with some of her larger parties and knew I could do it as well. I did home and dorm parties for a few years which gave me the extra money I needed. I took a break at the end of my senior year, but I eventually came back when I was able to devote some more time to the business.
In Jan. 2016, the company I had been selling for was sold to another home party business. When I discovered this new company's policy about NO MEN, I was floored! This company doesn’t allow male consultants, co-ed parties, or even a heterosexual couple at a party!! What is this, the 1920's? Do they not realize men want the same respect and opportunity to see products before buying as well? I decided I wasn't going to stay with such a gender-discriminatory company! While leaving this business I remembered another company that would be a better fit for me.
In prior years I had seen an open and accepting company at a PRIDE event. I vividly remember that this company had LGBTQ+ specific marketing materials and thinking at the time, "WOW, Athena’s Home Novelties is inclusive of the LGBTQ+ Community!" In my mind, to devote resources to make specific marketing materials meant something huge: They valued ME! They put money into seeking me (a queer-identified person) as a potential client. So, I found a local consultant with Athena's and joined! I was with them for 2 years and it was extremely motivating!
Even though I am not with this company any more, there is so much I still love about this company. I have had many personal conversations with the founder and CEO. Their office and training staff are great at what they do and focus on the inclusivity of the LGBTQ+ Community. I met amazing friends from all over the country through my time with Athena’s and thanks to some travel I was finally able to do. This company is a rock star at launching people into success and why I still routinely recommend it for folks who are interested in starting their own sex toy sales business.
I did some consultant training for them on gender and sexuality; because they valued the LGBTQ+ Community. so much, they wanted their consultants to have more training available to them. I even got the privilege to go on stage at a corporate meeting and introduce their first product specifically designed for Transgender Men.

By now, you might be wondering why would I leave such an awesome company. This was one of the hardest business decisions I ever had to make, so much that I still put it off for 6 months. After spending a week at Sex Geek Summer Camp in 2017, doing some real self-exploration, and getting back to basics with my business, I finally had that big "Ah-ha moment!"
I was slowly being pulled into my calling to primarily work with the LGBTQ+ Community. This marginalized community needed someone to be an expert on products made for their specific sexuality and gender expression. While many major companies may market to the LGBTQ+ Community, many have no direct experience or do any research in this area.
Today, I am trying to help narrow the gap between corporate marketing of sex toys and those in the LGBTQ+ community. I want these folks to have access to affordable, high-quality products that will work for them in their sexual preferences and gender expression. You can help me accomplish this mission by buying something from my SHOP page.
